Annual Trip 2005 #1: Kuantan, Pahang

How do we all end up to Kuantan? This holiday was never properly planned. Main belasah je. At 1st I just want to test the http://packages2go.virtualmalaysia.com travel package booking system. It goes through all the process (booking,confirmation, etc) within 3 days. and after 3 days an email stated that a family suite was reserved for us. Not bad for a start.
So me, my wife, 2 kids, mother inlaw and my wife's aunt pack up all the necessary stuff for 3 days 2 nights in Kuantan. Oh ya before that I just search all the destination nearby through http://virtualmalaysia.com portal.just to get the idea what is waiting for us in Kuantan.
I'm using the highway/expressway from genting-karak-banting-kuantan for convenient. And in 2 1/2 hours I arrived to the destination, Swiss Garden Resort & Spa Kuantan.
Since it was a family trip, we can't do so much activity suited for us all. We just ca do, eating out, car riding, beach walking, swimming, kite flying, sand castle/busut, and sleeping.
By the way, the nearest place of interest in our hotel are, the Teluk Balok beach, Batu Hitam beach, Teluk Chempedak, Beserah Beach and bandar Kuantan itself.

Just feel like to have a nice big glass of fruit juice. The only place that came across my mind was, Nan Corner. A little bit of expensive but the dishes are quite OK
We were having:
1 super glass of watermelon
1 super glass of longan
4 piece of roti boom
1 piece of nan
1 bowl of fish curry.
And it the grand total was RM34... yummy
